NHS Dental Charges
There are 3 charge bands:

Band 2: £70.70
Covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
Band 3: £306.80
Covers all treatment included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
Find out what's included in each NHS dental band charge, or ask your dentist to explain the charge for your treatment.
What if I need more treatment?
If you need more treatment within 2 months of completing a course of treatment, and it's from the same or a lower charge band, such as another filling, you do not have to pay anything extra.
If the additional treatment is in a higher band, you will need to pay for the new course of treatment.
Some treatments are guaranteed for 12 months from the date they were completed. This includes:
- fillings
- root fillings
- inlays
- porcelain veneers
- crowns
